Elsewhere, Doctor Bannon discusses the occurrences relating the energy being that seems to want to conquer their world. Elsewhere, the Impossibles discover a new escape from the space-time stream. Is he a foe or a friend? The action is starting to move a bit faster and the conclusion of the first arc seems near. I’m glad the plot is finally moving along because it felt a bit dormant for the last two issues. This comic is pure fun. These are all old characters from the cartoons proving that Hanna-Barbera once had much material to compete with the comics. The 1960s vibe can still be felt in these comics. It’s post-modern retro that doesn’t just wades into nostalgia. It moves beyond. The change of artist throughout the issue was jarring and is the real weakness of this comic. I would prefer if artists were committed to full issues as opposed to parcels. Yet I enjoyed the various interpretations of these characters.
