It's
been over a year since we've seen any significant news concerning
Konami's masterpiece game for Playstation 3, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns
of the Patriots. Today, on the show floor, Konami debuted a new
trailer for MGS4 that reveals quite a bit of significant information
about the game's storyline. It's also the first presentation of the
game in English. The trailer, more than six minutes in length,
depicts the desperate state of the future as seen through the
eyes of an older Solid Snake. The trailer features a variety of
returning characters from previous
Metal Gear Solid games,
including Meryl Silverburgh and Raiden.
There's
a lot more to it, but we don't want to ruin it for you. What we will
say is that David Hayter, Paul Eiding, Qunton Flynn, Phil LaMarr and
Pat Zimmerman will all be returning to reprise their roles as many of

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is set to release for
Playstation 3 in early 2008.
