Mega City One. Policeman as you know them no longer exist. The shear scale and density of the city and population meant there was a need for a more efficient means of dispensing the law. And so the 'Judges' were born.

They were judge, jury and (sometimes) executioner all rolled into in one. Sitting astride futuristic motor cycles and with similarly advanced weapons, they patrol the increasingly mean streets of Mega City One keeping order....or trying to.
Foremost among these judges is Dredd. His is a name feared and respected in equal measure. He brooks no argument. His word is law. He and this fellow judges are the embodiment of law.


So behave yourself.
