Dastardly and Muttley are on the run from the United States military after being affected by the drone farting cartoon energy all over the world. But as they make their escape, much more American officials are being affected by the cartoon farts. Can the two Airforce pilots save the world and themselves?

Garth Ennis is enjoying himself here writing the kind of silly adventure that he likes. However, the element of disbelief Dastardly is going through is wearing thin. Can we get over the novelty of the cartoon farts transforming everyone into looney tunes? It feels like Ennis is over explaining this plot twist now. The cartoon puns are not over the top. They feel limited. The one good thing about this comic is the interaction between the two leads.

Mauricet contributes solid visuals that are realistic but integrate the cartoony aspects of the story lightly. It would be fun if he would let himself loose a bit and just draw the crazy stuff happening. The restrain Mauricet and Ennis have is holding the comic back and not allowing it to just make fun of itself. There is not point trying to maintain realism in this comic. It is about two silly cartoon characters after all.
