The actual 37.19” x 24 is not for sale. It's just a prop to display in comic book conventions and book tours. If readers could purchase the comic book in this format, the hype would be more persuasive. Technically, I don't call this a "published" comic book if it's just a demonstration prop. But is Morales's CruZader the world's largest comic book even if it's not published? I say no. ComicBookBin has covered what I perceive to be the world's largest and longest comic book in 2012. I've made the claim that Thailand's Ramayana mural in Bangkok, Thailand is the world's largest comic book. As well as being much older that CruZader, it is much larger and longer by a long stretch! The press release by Morales doesn't say if the folks at Guinness have authenticated his claim. In the 1990s, comic book publishers would create special covers to market their comics. Some would even shoot bullets through them... These days, it's size that matters... CruZader will appear in stores on September 24, 2014. © Copyright 2002-2025 by Toon Doctor Inc. - All rights Reserved.
