Spider-man, one of the main acquisitions of the pro registration side is chased around sewers by deadly villains recruited by Tony Stark and Reed Richard. Can even Spider-man escape the clutches of so many villains desperate to take their revenge on him, now that they can? One thing that baffles me is how after so many years of fighting so many deadly villains, Spider-man actually receives a good beating by minor rank and files who are so great that they can be executed later in the issue. It seems like Millar is pulling a few tricks to show readers that this war is serious. However, it feels weak, as we know that in Civil War #6, Spider-man had already recovered. Millar is trying to write a grand epic using all types of clichés along the way. The artwork continues to shine, with characters that look more realistic than many other comic books coupled with a good doze cinematoscope frames. It works.
