Review Marathon
Enters the Flamingo versus the Red Hood, Scarlet, Batman and Robin. I’m not sure what to make of this issue. Morrison is pulling one of his post modernist trick instead of telling a linear story. Where did the Flamingo come from? Since when does the Red Hood has arch enemies of his own? What’s the deal with the online contest to expose Batman’s identity? So many corners and answers were skipped to show just the highlights of this story that it’s making everything complicated for no reason. I’d like to see more of the Flamingo, but apparently the Red Hood doesn’t want us to. I disliked Tan’s work on this issue. He makes everything ugly and difficult to follow. The action makes no sense.
