Jack Napier, also known as the Joker is sane and accusing the Gotham City Police and their supporters for enabling his insanity so that as a super criminal, he could benefit the one percent of the City. Seemingly sane and out for revenge against Gotham’s elite, its police and Batman, can the former Joker reach his objectives?

The story is a bit convoluted with the two Harley Quinn. At this point, I am still wondering if they are imaginary or real women. The concept of having two of them is interesting though. I still really wonder if the Joker is truly healed as he seems to be going back to his old villainous ways regardless of his sanity. The lack of a flashback or flash forward or whatever also ads to the confusion and lack of cohesion in this comic when compared with the first issue.

Sean Murphy’s artwork continues to be the highlight of this series although unfortunately, he did not have room for any car chase or the gratuitous exposition of vehicles this issue! Still his backgrounds are solid and detailed. Given how wordy Murphy is, at this point the artwork is what makes this comic interesting to read.
