This may be the most complete Metal tie-in yet. Most of the narrative is from the dark Batman's POV.  It is a decent back story and written from the dark Batman’s perspective it shows the think they are vigilantes working for justice and walking on side of angels. Until they came into contact with he who laughs at least. Most of this story is a fight between Aquaman and dark Batman yet with the history and character work it is not just a slugfest comic.
