I'm congratulating myself for Not going off on multiple tangents about the cult classic television shows, or talented cast acting on those shows. I do have to say though. RIP Adam West. Full disclosure this is the first issue of this comic I have read. Having said that I didn’t feel lost, or as if I was missing huge chunks of story. Sure there may have been some subtleties I didn’t pick up on, but overall felt I tracked the narrative. This issue opens, and pretty much follows throughout a fight between ’66 Batman, ’77 Wonder Woman, Night wing, Batwoman against R'as all ghul and his league of shadows. It may seem at first glance an anachronism to have night wing and not Robin as Batman's sidekick in the comic until one thinks by ’77 Grayson's Robin may have already started to establish his new identity. And no matter what identity it was the spirit of the classic robin remained with his “holy______”. Also there was thankfully the iconic fight sound effects. In other words this was the classic fun campy batman that epitomised the classic series.
