Even Northstar’s boyfriend has turned against him and is now helping the Canadian government. This issue, more characters switch sides. I like how the Taskmaster was brought him and what it took to pay him off to do his work on the Canadian fugitives. I’m not sure if seeing the Master of the World, and old Alpha Flight villain as satisfying as it should. He was always sent to the minor leagues of the Marvel Universe in the past, although he had the potential to be big throughout Marvel Comics. He sure plays the major villain part well, but I liked the evil in the Canadian government story better when he was not involved in the back pulling the strings. It felt so similar to what’s actually happening in Canada with our current administration. The story is still riveting and worth reading if you’re an Alpha Flight fan. It’s probably the best series they had in years, even for non Canadians. Eaglesham continues to please here with solid work. I like how he draws his characters’ faces,  Northstar’s in particular.
