This is the big issue where the final details of Lex Luthor’s plot are finally revealed. He seeks the power to best the Man of Steel. And the one to find out the extent of this new power is the Man of Steel’s own nephew! Elsewhere there is some catchup with Black Adam and his family and a full scale attack by Intergang on Kahndaq, Black Adam’s nation.

The action readers have waited for months now is finally taking off, with two full front battles that should provide some excitements. The sudden change of mind of Steel’s nephew continues to seem to sudden to be credible, given how far she went to oppose her own uncle in favour of lex Luthor. It seems artificial, although I really believe that she is on the side of the angels this time.

The artwork is decent but not exceptional. Smith’s characters are stiff and his proportions are off. They have very small heads, long torso and long legs. Smith tries to convey some emotions but most of his characters have the same open mouth-dazzled look.
