iZ3D, LLC, designer, developer, and marketer of advanced 3D visualization systems, is pleased to announce that throughout 2008 it will be sponsoring several 3D movie premier night events at movie theaters across the nation. To kick-off the series iZ3D is sponsoring a contest for 100 lucky San Diego, California 3D fans to see "Journey to the Center of the Earth" on July 11th . For more information see http://www.iZ3D.com.
"To celebrate the building trend toward 3D viewing and the release of new 3D movie content, we are planning a series of fun 3D events for local graphic artists, gamers and 3D movie buffs. iZ3D will have personnel and 3D monitors on site to acquaint as many people as possible with the immersive home and business viewing benefits of 3D, " commented Thomas Striegler, CEO of iZ3D, LLC.
3D displays from iZ3D feature significant competitive and technical advantages over 2D display systems. Graphic artists will be able to create more realistic 3D images while viewing the design in 3D instead of 2D. The unique technology from iZ3D creates an adjustable 3D environment without causing eyestrain, spatial disorientation, or headaches. In 3D mode, viewers can see clear, bright, sharp 3D images or videos simply by wearing any of a variety of cool passive polarized glasses.
New drivers from iZ3D feature 64-Bit compatibility, CrossFireX and Open GL Quad Buffer support. Users can also "Test Drive" 3D effects on a 2D monitor with red and cyan anaglyph glasses.
Any existing PC equipped with a dual-output video card easily powers the 3D display. Specifications include: 1680 x 1050 resolution; up to 170-degree 3D viewing angle; 5ms response time; 700:1 contrast ratio; and 16.7-million colors. The iZ3D 22" widescreen, 3D monitor is available now.
