San Jose's Big Wow ComicFest Digs Underground Alley May 21-22

Hours: Saturday 10am-6pm plus a special screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with a Live Cast at 8pm!

           Sunday 10am-5pm
BIG WOW! ComicFest is coming to San Jose, May 21st & 22nd, bringing two great days of Comic Book, Art, Anime, Fantasy, Gaming and Costumes FUN!

This year we are proud to join Hippy Comix, Inc. in presenting Underground Alley, a special block of tables featuring two generations of Underground, Adult, and Alternative Comix creators: Mark Badger, Richard Becker, Mark Bode, Dan Fogel, Mario Hernandez, Judy Hurley, Dan O'Neill, Ted Richards, John Thompson and Larry Todd. S. Clay Wilson and Spain will be appearing on Saturday only, and Shelby Sampson only on Sunday. And as a special treat Scott Shaw! will also be presenting his infamous "OddBall Comics" Show!!

Of course we have dozens more fantastic Comic Book Creators for kids from 8 to 80: Sergio Aragones, Ernie Chan, Frank Cho (teaching a drawing class!), Steve Englehart, Greg Espinoza, John Heebink, Adam Hughes, Bill Morrison, Tone Rodriguez, Sanjulian, Mark Texeira, Tim Vigil, Matt Wagner, Nate Watson, Walden Wong, Dean Yeagle,  and SO Many More! The Comics Guaranty Company (CGC) will also be accepting books for Grading or Signature Series with many of our guests.

And no ComicFest is complete without our superstar Celebrity Guests including: actress Denise Crosby from Star Trek (screening her documentaries "Trekkies" & "Trekkies II"), rocker Jane Wiedlin from the GoGos and "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure", actor Herb Jefferson, Jr. from Battlestar Galactica, award-winning Anime voice actor Vic Mignogna, and 4 original actors from "The Mighty Morphing Power Rangers" !

Not to mention our Costume/Cosplay Contest, Panels, Industry Freebies, Gaming, Card & Role Playing Games with Sanctioned Tournaments, and many of the best vendors of all things cool and collectible!!!

1 Day Adult $20.00 (at the door)     2 Day Adult $30.00 (at the door)

1 Day Child $10.00 (at the door)     2 Day Child  $15.00 (at the door)
