The story of young boy and his giant government-built, mutant-hating robot returns as Eisner Award-winning writer Sean McKeever and UDON return for the next chapter in the life of Juston Seyfert and his Sentinel in the pages of Sentinel #1.

“Though I was pretty much content with how we'd ended the series, I always knew there was so much more of Juston Seyfert's story that needed to be told,” says Sean McKeever. “So when I was told I was getting a chance to come back to these characters and this world, I was excited for the opportunity to continue the story, but I was also really worried that I couldn't live up to readers' expectations.”

When the last series ended, Juston had used his refurbished Sentinel to gain popularity at school, but his selfish acts ended with harsh consequences and left him guilt-ridden. The new series finds Juston on the road, running away from home in search of his mother who left his family at an early age.

Not only is Juston looking for his mother, but he is searching for what he should do with his life as well as how his Sentinel fits into that new life. But Juston may not have time to figure that out as government agents come looking to reclaim the Sentinel,

“I'm happy to report that I really think Sentinel fans are gonna love this next chapter in Juston's life,” swears McKeever. “They'll get to meet a few new characters. They'll discover more about the Sentinel's backstory, and Juston's as well. They'll be introduced to a formidable new threat to both Juston and the Sentinel. And, of course, it wouldn't be the same without Pete, Chris, Jessie and the rest of the supporting cast.”

McKeever is also thrilled to be working again with his former art team on Sentinel. “Joe Virens and the rest of the UDON guys did such great work the first time around, but now it's just unreal,” says McKeever. “It almost looks painted! I can't wait for people to see what they're up to.”

Be sure not to miss out on the return of the fan-favorite Sentinel featuring more action than you can shake a three-story tall Sentinel at. And be on the lookout in December for the first issue of Marvel Spotlight, Marvel's insider look at creators, putting Sentinel writer and Eisner award winner Sean McKeever on center stage.
