UDON Entertainment will be boldly expanding into the world of self-publishing this October 2005 as a part of Street Fighter Month. The move to self-publish will be spearheaded by the re-launching of the popular CAPCOM Street Fighter series with Street Fighter II #0. The 32 page, full color introductory issue WILL NOW ALSO INCLUDE A FREE EXCLUSIVE TRADING CARD from the upcoming Street Fighter Epic Battles Trading Card Game by Score Entertainment and Blockbuster, and it is still priced at the introductory offer of $1.99!

"We would like to offer the best value to both our customers and retailers! We especially encourage all retailers to take advantage of this special discount offer to stock up on the Street Fighter II #0 issue, as this book is heavily cross promoted with all the other Street Fighter products shipping in October, the official Street Fighter Month!"

UDON's foray into self-publishing will also include the reprinting of the completely sold out English-translated art book, Street Fighter: Eternal Challenge, and the launch of UDON's first fantasy title, Exalted #1, a comic series based on the hit White Wolf RPG property.

"UDON has continued to grow over the years, and publishing our own books was something that became necessary and seemed inevitable," says UDON Chief, Erik Ko. "There are numerous exciting projects we're readying for the near future and they will all benefit greatly from gaining the flexibility and control that comes with being our own publisher."

While forging ahead as a independent publisher, UDON will continue its strong tradition of providing creative services to the industry's most exciting companies this fall 2005, including Marvel's re-launch of the critically acclaimed Sentinel series, DC/Wildstorm's Robotech, Dynamite Entertainment's Red Sonja, and much more.
