Captured by a band robbers, can Icarus Estro forge an unlikely alliance in order to escape. And is all going well with emperor Antonias Kalain’s victory tour of Mu!?!



With this issue the story doesn’t necessarily progress a great deal, but more of the scope and history is revealed to us. We don’t straight away find out what happens to Icarus from last issue, but his fate does get told. The way the issue does start off however adds a great deal of intrigue and another facet of mysticism to the story and what you expect. The only real problem with the issue was the way the next part of the old history is thrown in. It kind of disrupts the flow of current events.



Lee continues to impress with the art. The first page really does set up the quality that continues throughout. At the back of the book there is an interesting guide by Lee, on storyboard construction, that would be comic artists may find helpful. The cover (I picked up cover B) is well done and also has a mysterious edge to it, with a shadowed Antonias Kalain’s at the bottom and some unknown characters above…….is the female an elf queen???
