Dynamite Entertainment announced today that it will be releasing its first-ever Army of Darkness Maquette Statue.

The piece, available for PRE-ORDER now and advance solicited in the July Previews catalogue, was inspired by the fan-favorite cover to the very first issue of Army of Darkness by J. Scott Campbell.

"What we've got here is the best of both worlds," explained Dynamite Spokesperson J. Allen. "Our first AOD statue - done in a maquette style -- and that first piece being inspired by J. Scott Campbell's cover to AOD #1. This a win-win situation for the fans out there!"

The Army Of Darkness Maquette Statue has a suggested retail price of $149.99 and was sculpted by Anthony Colella, who captured the essence of Campbell's art in this truly faithful recreation. The piece will be strictly limited, and stand 13" inches tall.
