Though I've read comics for a long time, I've still never learned to get over my a favorite title getting cancelled. It seems as if X-STATIX is on the way to doom, and that's a shame. The series really reminds me of a cool Silver Age comics. Mike Allred provides the retro flavored art, but Peter Milligan is a better writer than most of the guys who wrote comics in the so-called Silver Age. And he has a knack, like those Silver Age golden oldies, to create fantastic scenarios. Before it's too late, don't miss this title that puts old school charm into the cutting edge.
