Dynamite Entertainment today released images and information concerning the 7th issue of their ongoing Red Sonja series. This issue, scheduled to ship in late December, features a special stand alone tale by a talented group of creators exploring the Red Sonja universe for the first time!

“With all of the work put in to the first story arc and to get Red Sonja back on schedule, we gave the regular team a break as we prep the next arc! We’d been itching to work with JT [Krul, writer of issue #7] since we did the Fathom Prelude together and Noah [Salonga, artist of issue #7] was the icing on the cake,” explained Dynamite Spokesperson J. Allen.

Red Sonja #7 promises high seas adventures as Sonja enters an uneasy alliance on a quest for hidden treasure and battle against the scourge of the sea - the pirates of the Hyrkania!

With the regular creative team taking a short break while they catch up on the first arc,

Featuring covers by Adam Hughes and Billy Tan (shipping in a 50/50 ratio) with a special chase cover by Andrea DeVito (shipping 1 for every 7 copies).
