Sports Picks Lineup Takes You out to the Ballgame

McFarlane Toys presents their 22nd toy series based on Major League Baseball stars.  According to the toy line’s website, MLB 22 Sports Picks lineup will feature a trio of longtime favorites, a pair of Sports Picks debuts, and two superstars debuting for new teams.”   Each player figure will be offered in the stunning quality for which McFarlane Toys is known, and will feature authentic team logos, 2008 MLB uniforms, and a detailed base upon which the figure can be mounted.

The line includes McFarlane’s fourth figure of New York Yankee Derek Jeter with 2008 All-Star Game and Yankee Stadium patches on the figure’s sleeves.  The Boston Red Sox’s big-mouthed pitched Curt Schilling will be a McFarlane toy for the third time.  Also, making his third appearance is the incomparable Ichiro Suzuki of the Seattle Mariners.  Andruw Jones will make his second McFarlane appearance, this time in the uniform of his new team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

McFarlane first-timers include former Cub, Brewer, and Ranger Carlos Lee, now of the Houston Astros.  The New York Mets’ base-stealing and run-scoring dynamo, Jose Reyes also makes his debut.

MLB 22 is expected to arrive in stores in early July, 2008.
