BLAYLOCK READIES NEW BOOK, HEADS TO MEGACON
Devil’s Due founder to appear at Orlando convention in March with a new art book slated for April
Devil’s Due President and creator Josh Blaylock (G.I. Joe, Kore) has big plans for March and April, including signings during Orlando’s MegaCon at the Orange County Convention Center Friday, March 7, through Sunday, March 9, and a brand new book set to hit racks in April. Blaylock will be located in the Orange section of the convention hall at table #14 during MegaCon, signing books, sketching and promoting Proliferating ComiCulture: The Art, Rants and Commentary of a Comic Book Upstart.
“2008 is already shaping up to be a year of major expansion for Devil’s Due,” Blaylock said. “The launch of our Devil’s Due Pop line, the success of the Halloween: Nightdance, and the continued development of Hack/Slash at Rogue Pictures are only the beginning of a year’s worth of new projects. Proliferating ComiCulture is the result of my experiences getting Devil’s Due to this point.”
The new book mixes Blaylock’s unique background as an artist and writer with his business-savvy outlook on the comic book industry, including new artwork and insights into where the comic book industry is headed.
