WATCHMEN TP OFFERED ON CONSIGNMENT FROM DC COMICS AND DIAMOND

Starting June 18, DC Comics and Diamond Comic Distributors kick off a three-part series of special consignment offers for the WATCHMEN TP (FEB058406), allowing retailers to meet demand for this classic collected edition as interest in the upcoming movie builds.

Written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons, WATCHMEN is the most acclaimed and bestselling graphic novel of all time, and was named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Best English-language novels from 1923 to today. 

Details on the first part of this consignment offer are below. Watch for details on the second and third parts of the consignment offer in late August.

From June 18 through September 1, Diamond retailers whose accounts are in good standing may reorder the WATCHMEN TP (FEB058406) via phone, fax, or email only with no upfront charge. Please reference code PROMO 838 to ensure that your copies appear on your invoice at $0.00 cost.

As with all reorders, retailers may elect to have their consignments direct-shipped to their stores, or have them reshipped via their Diamond Distribution Centers with their shipments the following week.

Consignment titles must be kept on sale until September 1. After September 1, retailers will have until September 30 to return unsold quantities of their consignment reorder.

DC COMICS CLARIFIES POINTS ON WATCHMEN CONSIGNMENT

Following the announcement on June 17 of the consignment offer on the WATCHMEN TP (FEB058406), please note the following points:

•           Retailers will get the discount for the months in which they place orders.

•           Copies sold will count toward monthly totals for determining DC discount after returns are processed.

•           Copies returned must be in saleable condition.

•           Books are packed in cases of 18.
