In a “Comics Exclusive,” Entertainment Weekly’s website provided a first look at two prototypes from the upcoming line of “Watchmen” action figures.  The Rorschach and Nite Owl action figures are modeled after the characters from Zack Snyder’s Watchmen movie, which is due in theatres March 6, 2009.

According to EW writer Nisha Gopolan, DC Direct has put the finishing touches on these collector-edition tie-ins and will unveil four of the action-figure prototypes at New York Comic-Con on Friday, April 18.  The toys are due in stores in January 2009 with a tentative price of $14.99.
