Conquest Mode Coming To Battlefield: Bad Company

Electronic Arts announced today that the Battlefield franchise's popular Conquest mode will be making a comeback this week, when the publisher launches the mode as a free download for Battlefield: Bad Company on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Originally made famous by Battlefield 1942, Conquest mode is a mutliplayer mode in which players compete to eliminate their opposing team's tickets. Players can deplete their opponent's tickets on a point per kill basis, but they can cause even more damage by capturing control points. Four maps which are currently available for online play in Gold Rush mode will become available for play as part of Conquest mode when it launches for download this Thursday, August 7 th .

Battlefield: Bad Company is rated T for Teen.
