While Ashley and Alex are exploring their new powers they face their first super villain! But can even this prepare them for...the horrors of the media?!?

I will admit, that while I liked the first issue of Absolute Zeros, I wasn't quite sure where the story would be heading, So when I started Issue #2 I was alittle bit worried - That worry was set aside only a few pages in. Absolute Zeros #2 begins with a former Boy Band member ( J.C ) who's decided to go Solo, looking around a "Pop Rocks" factory, negotiating a deal with it's owner to become their spokesmen. While looking around he finds a door and walks in, TO DISCOVER THEM TESTING THE POP ROCKS ON ANIMALS!!! Well, actually, it looked like just one Gerbil to me - but man, did it piss off J.C. Meanwhile, Ashley and Alex find themself in a lab, just discovering that they now have powers steming from the incident that happened towards the end of issue #1.

Most people always like first issues, it's within the 2nd, 3rd and 4th issues when you really decide if you like a series or not - if Absolute Zeros #2 is any indication of how good this series can get, then i'm going to be sticking around for a while.

I found the art in Issue #2 to be an improvement over the first, it seemed like a lot more stuff was happening in each panel, this may be due in part to the environment and situations presented in this issue. Absolute Zeros #2 is a strong indication that this series is heading in the right direction, it's combination of uneque story and humor is a big winner. Check the links below to purchase a copy.
