Just when you think injustice has hit all the high notes, nuhhuh, Ted Kord in the opening panels is training Jamie Reyes new Blue Beetle. A poignant and humorous scene that is becoming a frequent trademark of this comic. Then after a scene with Batman talking to Lord, who pops up? Booster Gold! Another fun character to lighten what could be a very grim and dark series.

Wow the writing continues to impress me with its complexity, depth and much needed levity. The art again is brilliant. The characters drawn strong and the action clean.
