Gods and Monsters

Thor, Son of Odin, the Ruler of the Norse gods of Asgard, is sent to Earth as punishment for his reckless and arrogant nature in the hopes that he will learn humilty. Linked with Dr Donald Blake, Thor learns what it is to be a true hero as Earth becomes threatened by dark, ancient forces.

Having previously had an early May release date, the Thor movie is now fixed for a release date of 20th May 2011.

I notice that Rene Russo (as Frigga, queen of Asgard) and Colm Feore (''24'', Chronicles of Riddick) have joined the cast. Two very good and very reliable actors. They will definitely add something to this production, that's for sure. 'Team Thor' are definitely gathering a good band of acting talent together. I'm more and more intrigued with how this will be presented and received, and will definitely be going to see this one.
