What makes Banimon different though, is the reliance of Flash technology to propel it. Once a user rolls over one of the panel, the captions appear under the cursor and allows the reader to read the story. I haven't seen anything like this before. Usually, Web comics types and many of the iPhone will simply make the captions larger when you roll over them.

From a comic book storytelling perspective the popping captions reach the limit of what this pundit and an animator considers good comics. I'm not a fan of motion comics that mix animation with stills. I say, if you want to do animation do it entirely and leave the animated mouths stuck on static designs behind. But Banimon innovate here as only the captions show interactivity and frankly, they do not take away from the reading experience at all.
27 comic strips of Banimon are available as of this writing with more to come. Banimon is also available as printed comic book. More information at Banimon.com
