The little insight into Booster Gold’s scheming was great and show the character has not changed much from when he was introduced in the 1980s. It was good to see John Stewart and Hal Jordan working together although the introduction to the Chinese super heroes was chaotic. More will be told about them probably in another series, but it was not easy to understand who they were.
The layout in this issue is conventional but it helps to carry the story forward. There’s much action as the Green Lanterns face the Chinese heroes, but everything is clear. The artwork has nothing special about it but it works well.
