Wolverine #66 Hacks And Slashes Its Way To A Sell Out!

Marvel is pleased to announce that Wolverine #66 has sold out at Diamond and, due to popular demand, will return with Wolverine #66 Second Printing Variant.  From the best selling team of Mark Millar and Steve McNiven (Civil War), comes Wolverine in an awesomely violent vision of the Marvel Universe’s future!  The heroes of Earth have fallen and evil has ruled the world ever since. And everyone’s favorite Canadian Canuck hasn’t popped the claws in nearly 50 years.  The man who now goes by Logan only cares about one thing and one thing only…his family.  Pushed to the edge by the HULK GANG, old man Logan is forced to assist the blind archer, HAWKEYE, in a dangerous drive across America.  Together, they’ll have to deliver a package to the East Coast! Wolverine #66 Second Printing Variant features the interior of Steve McNiven on a jaw-dropping cover featuring Wolverine versus the Hulk Gang!

The reviews are in and Wolverine #66 has the critics loving it!

Jesse Schedeen of IGN.com raves, “Millar is allowed to cut loose (no pun intended) and craft a story that revels in its own unusual qualities…you might find it hard to avoid cracking a smile.”

Troy Brownfield of Newsarama.com says “McNiven gets to really show some great stuff here; he gets to bounce some Sturges-style panoramas against simple scenes like a family at dinner. When the story allows for a flash of action, he hits it running.”

Eric Norris of ComicsBulletin.com raves, “This guy is an artistic god…McNiven continues to draw dynamic characters and set pieces, as well as contribute fantastic compositions and panel layouts to produce a book that flows perfectly from panel to panel...”

Augie De Blieck Jr.of ComicBookResources.com says, “I liked it. I liked the feel of the whole thing…I like the western aspect of it all…It's a thumbs-up for me. It's going to be a long year getting through the whole story. I want it all now.”

If you missed the first issue of this epic Wolverine saga, “Old Man Logan”—here’s your second chance to get Wolverine #66!  And don’t forget to pick up Wolverine #67, where Logan and Hawkeye face off against the GHOST RIDERS!

Please note that copies of Wolverine #66 may still be available at the retail level.
