This is the third part of a six-issue storyline called "the Hypothetical Woman" about a dictator who tricks the nations of the world into sending their secret weapons against the Justice League. It is quite bizarre to see the League members acting so chummy and working so well together in this book after all the back-biting and harsh words that have appeared in recent JLA issues. If anything, the JLA defeats the threats in this issue too easily. (Seriously, those transporters are turning into a regular Deus Ex Machina.) The story needs to pick up some momentum if it wants the remaining issues of this storyline to retain the excitement of the first two issues. The art is wonderful to look at. But most of it seems focused on showing people confined to small rooms. It just needs a threat worthy of the scope of a JLA story.
