The mysterious island is throwing up more trouble and questions for Hulk, Banner & co, than an election year for the top party. But will we find answers, or is there still more than meets the eyes?

This is another interesting issue of Hulk that Peter David has cooked up. The story moves forward nicely. We find out what General Ross is doing on the island (Smash in deed lol). And we see Hulk throw down with a fire, yep, I said it, fire breathing Dragon. David handles these things well, they’re described in a way that still leaves the reader wondering whether everything is so cut an dry.

This issue is lighter in look than the first two parts of the story, but this doesn’t detract from the tone. Weeks draws a compelling General Ross, the hard boiled, steely conviction is tattooed on his face. The whole Hulk scenes were really entertaining too. The angles used at first to capture the moment do the job just right. And the scales really help to create an imposing situation. Really digging the cover too.

Report Card - C+

Koncise an out :)
