Merscom,
developers of the above-mentioned
Buku
Sudoku
,
announced today that it is sponsoring a contest with
Xbox360Achievements.org (x360a.org) for the launch of the game. The
company will be holding a draw two weeks after the game's launch for
players who earn all 200 achievement points. The draw winner will
receive a Samsung 40” LN40A550 LCD television. Five other players
who earn all of the achievements will win a copy of
Scene
It? Lights, Camera, Action
.
Merscom says it chose an HDTV as a “ way of informing gamers about the incredible high res graphics of Buku Sudoku . Just as the Samsung LN40A550 represents the next step in digital televisions, Buku Sudoku represents the evolution of Sudoku into core gaming.” The specs on the TV are, admittedly, impressive. It includes full 1080p resolution, a 5 ms response rate, a USB port and 3 HDMI v1.3 ports. The reason for the choice of Scene It? As a secondary prize is a little more obvious. Both games work with the Big Button Pad.
“ We feel this contest really draws attention to the beautiful graphics in our game, as well as shows the complexity and challenges in Buku Sudoku on Xbox Live Arcade,” said Kirk Owen, CEO of Merscom. “The Samsung TV represents the cutting edge of LCD TVs. Most importantly, though, it rewards the gamers who put a lot of time into our product.” For complete contest registration information, you can check out www.xbox360achievements.org, the game's official website or www.merscom.com.
