Classic Kellogg’s® Character #1: Tony the Tiger™, comes in a litho-printed full-color tin box and includes a vintage-style button and booklet, limited edition of 500 numbered pieces, $49.95

2006 marks the 100th anniversary of the Kellogg company, and Dark Horse is excited to be a part of the celebration! We are pleased to offer four 8" vinyl figures as the first Kellogg’s items in our program: Cornelius™, Tony the Tiger™, Sugar Pops Pete™, and Toucan Sam™. Plus, the first in a new line of syroco statues based on the Vintage Kellogg’s™ characters.

kellogs-tucan.jpg
Each vinyl character appears in their original iconic “vintage” design and is approzimately 8". Our Tony the Tiger™ statue is inspired by images of Tony™ from the Kellogg’s archives, but also recalls the 1940’s sculpting and painting style of syroco statues.

Now, you can collect all the great Kelloggs™ characters that have been your favorites since childhood. Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes'® Tony the Tiger® roared onto the scene with his trademark growl, "They're Gr-r-reat!"™ way back in 1951. Cornelius™ the Rooster has remained a permanent fixture on the Kellogg’s Corn Flakes® box since 1958. Toting his sugar-spraying pistol, Sugar Pops Pete™ made Kellogg’s Sugar Pops® cereal a hit, and he turned many villains sweet along the way. Finally, there's the famous fruit connoisseur, Toucan Sam™, who debuted in 1963 and introduced kids to "Toucanese" or "Toucan Talk," which was the best way to say OOT-FRAY OOPS-LAY.
