Daredevil #49

Well everything's building up to the BIG # fiftieth issue and with all those artists attached it should be something special. Daredevil's run on Marvel Knights has been stellar in my opinion. We've seen some great stuff from great writers & artists and now Bendis is on he's picked up that ball and is running like that Gump boy J.
First Typhoid Mary shows up, then Kingpin comes back and then last issue………………….Bullseye! What could happen next, how can this get sorted out, will Daredevil be the same afterwards? To be honest……. I don't know, but in Bendis we trust and from what he's done, I can't wait to see the conclusion.
In this issue all hell breaks loose and Bendis handles it………actually, nah. Bendis DEALS with it properly! The dialogue has a nice flow and you are sucked into the story waiting for the next move. No one acts out of character but you get to see different sides of certain cats and that is REALLY interesting.
I have always found the art in Daredevil to be truly fitting with the mood of the book. It's laid out nicely and is easy to follow. Alex Maleev really has a talent for gritty streets. I often wonder why he isn't doing more work for Marvel (would have been great on that Blade book). This book is another example of a synchronised creative team.
Another great issue from Bendis & Co. Everything is now poised for the big one, issue 50 and I doubt we will be disappointed. If you haven't got it yet, why not?
Report Card – B (This is building up madly nicely. Can't wait for the conclusion)
