Batgirl, daughter of super-assassin Cane, battles the Ravager, daughter of super-assassin Deathstroke. This is not the all-action tale that most readers will be expecting. Sure, there is fighting and bloodshed but this is a surprisingly introspective issue with Batgirl contrasting her experience with that of the Ravager: both young girls fighting to get the approval of their father figures. She thinks her way through the fight, something that does slow the story down a little but also makes it more gripping than the usual comic book slug-fest. The art however seems to be too minimalist, as though the artists couldn't be bothered to add detail. But at least you can follow the action rather well so the reader knows what is happening all throughout instead of being mystified about what is going on in one panel to the next.
