In the first of a mini-series of zombie related pieces, I give you

Zombies Land

When I heard the title, I was interested.
When I read the synopsis, I was very pleased.
But when I saw the trailer...I was thoroughly hooked!

Zombieland
looks like fun. And it looks funny. Those are just two of the things I like to see in a zombie film. Check out Return of The Living Dead,
if you want to know why I say that. That film is fun, funny and had some scares in it too. It is an excellent horror comedy. And Zombieland looks like it will fit quite snugly into the genre very nicely indeed.

In this post-apocalyptic horror comedy film, a rag tag band of people who barely know each other, look for safe haven as they cross America during an outbreak of zombies. Ruben Fleicher has gathered together some cool acting talent for this production. Even if you don't recognise some of the names, you'll recognise the faces when you see them! So who's in it? Well, we have Jesse Eisenberg (Adventureland, The Village) and Woody Harrelson for starters. There are also Emma Stone (Superbad), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) and Amber Heard (The Informers, All The Boys Love Mandy Lane) too. And let's not forget the legendary Bill Murray. Not bad, eh?

It may not be the most original idea, but it looks like it will be delivered in style and definitely promises to be a good cinema going experience. And that is what it is all about surely?

Slightly gruesome trailer. Mind the piano now.
