Veronica Cale will fund Dr. Minerva’s research in order to use her against Wonder Woman and find the secret location of Themyscira, the home of the Amazon. With the revived Dr. Cyber, Wonder Woman is kept very busy while Dr. Minerva is secretly transformed into Cheetah. What will Wonder Woman do next?



I loved this issue. The Year One storyline so far has been incredible. How it is interwoven through the present-day narrative is also extremely well done. Wonder Woman is getting the royal treatment from DC Comics right now.  I like the parallel with Dr. Minerva both becoming Cheetah in the present day last issue and this one.

Bilquis Evely is a great artist for this storyline which follows the first one with Ares. There is a Silver Age style to Wonder Woman that makes her look classy. The colours by Romulo Fajardo Jr. suit Evely’s line art quite well with soft and bright colours.
