Trinity 14 continues the Dark Destiny storyline. It’s a heavy action issue, which is not a bad thing. The art, by Marion and Florea, is exceptionally good, which helps carry it quickly along.

Poor Batman and Wonder Woman are left to deal with not only a possessed Red Hood and the Outlaws, but also Superman, thanks to Circe’s manipulations.

John Constantine winds up providing the emotional core to the story, which is a bit weird. His feelings for Zatanna become critical as he tries to play Circe, while she works to out scheme Constantine.

While this is not an issue that provides any great depth or insight into the three main characters, it does remain a fun and entertaining story. A trifle, I suppose, but one that no one would regret reading.
