Robin leads the Teen Titans as they break into the Batcave in this issue. But Robin has his own agenda, and a surprise ally on the team.

Adam Glass is doing a very good job on this book. I cannot help but contrast this title with Titans, and it excels over that book in every way. The characters have much more interesting interactions, and there is more of a sense of fun as well.

It’s great to see the Teen Titans having to face off against Batman in his own lair. The fight’s conclusion is perfect, never saw it coming.

Robin is so central to all of this, and not just because he is the team leader. The fact that he is maintaining his personal, secret prison for villains means that he is deceiving the rest of the team. Even though this group of young heroes is starting to bond, the lies that are at the core of the group threaten this, and add a layer of suspense to any tale.

When will the rest of the team learn what Robin is up to, and how will they react?
In this issue we discover that one of the team already knows. That just adds to the situation, as Robin will not be the only one to take the heat.

In the meantime, this issue is a nice diversion for the out of the loop members of the team. And it even gives us a scene between Alfred and Damien. Those two could mount their own comedy routine, I swear.
