Special Makeup Effects artist David Brooke "making up" with one of his creations.
There’s a new face for online entertainment and that is TV FACE Directed by Dean Bull and Produced by David Britz.  TV FACE consists in 39 free of charge horror episodes (with each episode being about 3 minutes) available only on internet starting July 2007.  It features a series of fictional horror movies that emulate 70's and 80's horror classics such as The Evil Dead, Halloween, Jason, Re-Animator, Suspiria, and Cannibal Holocaust.  I’m very excited about this new concept as there hasn’t been a solid online series since the likes of Amanda Hades, Dark Commandos, or Star Trek: Hidden Frontier.  Online series or “webisodes” as they are called took a leap in the early 2000’s and fell quickly after.  Now TV FACE is here to once again take on the WEBISODE with their brand new concept.

“There has been a lot of resentment and resistance to going online with new media, especially since it is uncharted territory and less controlled,” producer Britz tells why the show is being brought online.  “Having a fresh, extremely bold show, we embraced the idea.  This way, fans can get really involved in a show and media that they really enjoy, and we can respond quickly.  We hate censorship with a passion.  We control the artistic integrity of the project.”

The show will directly deal with the character of Mitch who is an avid collector of "Video Nasties" who is trying to get a comic book off the ground.  Under the guidance of his mysterious PUBLISHER, Mitch undergoes a series of training exercises that supposedly will bring him closer to the psyche of the HERO that he illustrates. What Mitch does not realize, is that his new abilities will be tested on an epic adventure, where Mitch will have to act as a true HERO against unimaginable evils.

Director Dean Bull gives Lindsey Girardot (Jessica) her motivation.
“Aaron Mento is an awesome writer who tends to gear towards horror, and very strange choices in writing,” Britz comments on the shakers behind the production.  “Dean Bull, the director, has an uncanny eye for design and understanding of structure.  My background is in abstract performance, Shakespeare and movement.  Combining these elements and talents together makes for a pretty relentless piece.”

“Our show was cast by Kelli Lerner, CSA, who also cast Dark Water.  Over 16,000 actors submitted for the project.  We have a tremendous cast.  Our leads are Scott Vickaryous (MITCH), Lindsey Girardot (JESSICA), and Jilon Ghai (RANDY).  We also have actors such as James Horan and Michael Edwin.  We cast experienced actors, but they were cast based solely on talent.  We had no political casting.”

To learn more head over to the TV FACE official site or become a friend of MY FACE at the MySpace community.  The BIN will also be hosting each episode starting in July.  Keep an eye for more details!
