Supergirl #15 : Love The Ones We Hurt

Penciiller - Ian Churchill

Writer - Joe Kelly

Inker - Norm Rapmund

Colorist - Rod Reis

Lettering - Comic Craft

Asst' Editor - Adam Schlagman

Editor - Eddie Berganza

If you read issue #14 then you probably know that Powerboy is a bit twisted mentally. We start this issue off with a couple panelled pages and then a beautiful splash page where the real action starts. The love between Supergirl and Powerboy is about over now, and there's a strong indication that there probably never was any lone to start with.

There is a lot of cool battle between Supergirl and Powerboy here. I don't want to give away too much but we almost get a full arsenal of Supergirl's abilities, very nice!

The plot thickens and more strange things happen to Supergirl.  One instance involving her parents talking inside her head which is kind of disturbing but expected with the series.

I really like the bright atmosphere in this issue, and with Ian Churchill back on since issue #13 my hope in Supergirl has been shallowly renewed. Let's hope DC keep their eye on this series and gives it the attention it deserves!

Good story, beautiful artwork, and leaves you wanting the next issue. I think the creative team did their job well with this one!
