The third issue of No Justice sees a surprising sacrifice, and brings back Vril Dox, the “son” of Brainiac, a character not seen often enough.

I would really like to recommend buying this book. Even more so because Francis Manapul is Canadian. But after the Orange Nazi imposed his tariff garbage on Canada today, I cannot do anything other than advise boycotting any and all American products and companies.*

But if I were not advising a boycott, I would definitely recommend this issue.
I love the plot twists in this story, as well as the fact that what had seemed like the main goals, the challenges involving the Trees of Wisdom, Mystery, Entropy and Wonder, get resolved more quickly than expected.

Vril Dox lets the heroes know what Brainiac’s true plans had been, and they were none too philanthropic. Dox has been a great character from the day he was introduced, and one is never quite sure on which side to place the guy, hero or villain. That makes it far more difficult for the assembled heroes to trust him, or the information that he shares with them.

There is also more great stuff with Green Arrow and Amanda Waller. My gosh these two are so well suited to share a scene together. Every time they argue I wonder why no one put them together before.

And, as I mentioned, there is a selfless sacrifice to round everything out. A hugely enjoyable issue. Too bad one ought to boycott it.

*Editor's note: On May 25, 2018, Donald Trump imposed a set of tariffs on Canada, the European Union, and Mexico over goods such as steel and aluminum.
