Also available for download is the latest firmware update, Firmware Version 1.70. The update adds the ability to download Playstation format software and play it on the Playstation 3. Some games will also be playable on the PSP. In addition, some accessories that were meant to be used with the Playstation 2 format software will now have force feedback enabled. Obviously, only accessories that have the force feedback functionality in the first place will be able to do it. Finally, the new version also allows for the use of save data from Playstation format software on PSP. If you're interested in finding out how that works, click the link here.
