Exclusive is an interesting word when it comes to press releases. As an example, yesterday at E3 Midway Game, Epic Games and SCEA announced that Unreal Tournament 3 will be releasing later this year, exclusively for PC and Playstation 3. Officially speaking, the fact that the game will be on both PC and Playstation 3 means it will not be exclusive, maybe exclusively as far as consoles go, but not completely exclusive.

Stepping away from semantics though, there's a more important topic at hand, and that is yesterday's announcement that Unreal Tournament 3 will be releasing later this year. The game marks the return of the world's premiere first person shooter to the PC, and its debut as the first Unreal game for Playstation 3. Unreal Tournament 3 will make full use of the Unreal Engine 3, both on PC and Playstation 3, bringing high definition graphics and gameplay to a brand new high. As with the previous Unreal Tournament games, players will be able to fight against their friends online, or against A.I. The only difference this time will be that the A.I. will be a lot more advanced. Unreal Tournament 3 will also mark another first for Playstation 3. It will be the first game to offer a large quantity of user generated content, like multiplayer maps, custom game modes and more.

Unreal Tournament 3 is currently scheduled to release in November. For more information, you can check out www.unrealtournament3.com.
