The latest movie to feature a very popular and iconic character is going to be here in a week (and it's in 3D!). Conan the Barbarian (2011) isn't based on the 1980's Schwarzenegger movie of the same name. It's entirely new. Though of course there might be similar plot points bearing in mind the source material.
Starring Jason Momoa, Stephen Lang, Rachel Nichols, Ron Perlman and Rose McGowan to name but a few, this has a cool, talented, attractive and seasoned cast. Many of whom are favourites in other genres and are very welcome additions to the sword and sorcery genre.
You may know that I am a fan of the Conan character from a previous article about The Savage Sword of Conan series, so you can rest assured that I'll be watching this film when it hits these shores.
